A documentary report by Miss Saada Suleiman

The Eritrean Saho Cultural Association (ESCA) celebrates its 20th Anniversary in London. The celebration which took place on Saturday 7th April 2012, included  variety of activities including drama, cultural show and an exhibition. The exhibition attracted huge interest as it displayed unique cultural materials and traditional handcrafts as well as a Photoshop of the association’s activities through the years.

What  was striking to many people  to see the paintings of their fellow community member, Hajji Ibrahim Otban, who passed away in April 1994, in London. Hajji had left so many happy memories for his family and his community including some of those paintings which were displayed beautifully in the exhibition.
